Sahir Mehta is an actor/ director from Delhi. He has been involved in theatre for the last 5 years, having initially developed an affinity for the stage in school while compering various school events and participating in multiple improv competitions Through his career he has donned multiple hats - working backstage, doing sound and light design, acting, and directing. His career highlights include winning multiple best play and best director awards in various college fests, and performing sold out shows at India’s top venues including Indian Habitat Centre, NCPA, and Prithvi Theatre, with plays such as ‘Veronica’s Room’, ‘Speed-the-Plow’, and ‘Inc. Stinct’.

He recently graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, one of the best drama schools in the world holding the record for the maximum Academy Award nominations, with a Masters in Professional Acting. Notable acting alumni include Sir Daniel Day-Lewis, Jeremy Irons, Naomie Harris, Gene Wilder, Sir Patrick Stewart, and 2019 Oscar Winner for Best Actress Olivia Colman. While in the UK, he also starred in the hugely acclaimed ‘Mad Forest’, directed by Olivier Award nominee Max Key, and featured in the BBC radio drama ‘Hi-Spec’. In addition, Sahir has also featured in a few short films and some ads.
